What is the Songwriter Hub? 

The Songwriter Hub is The MLC’s new platform for fully administered or partially administered songwriters. This platform is designed to give these songwriters a new way to interact with their song data. 

The Songwriter Hub allows you to explore your data and stay connected to your songs. While the Member Hub is for self-administered songwriters who manage and collect royalties for their own works, the Songwriter Hub is designed for songwriters who are represented by a publisher or administrator, offering visibility into the details of the works being managed on your behalf.

Current Features 

Catalog Builder 

The Catalog Builder allows you to search for all the ways your name may appear in The MLC’s database to find the works that belong to you so you can add them to your Song Catalog.  

Song Catalog 

Within the Song Catalog you can consolidate and organize all your works, as well as export the catalog you've built.  

Matching Tool 

Use the Matching Tool to submit match requests, linking songs from your Catalog to DSP recording usage data. 

Corrections Requests 

If your writer name or writer IPI doesn’t look right, you can submit a request to update that name in the database.
