Completing Your Identity Verification

After signing up with The MLC, you'll complete a short identity verification process. To protect our Members from fraudulent activity, The MLC verifies all sign-up information through a third-party identity verification service before granting account access. 

How to complete identity verification 

Step 1: Prepare your document Before you begin, have your government-issued ID ready. Click Start when you're prepared to proceed. 

Step 2: Allow camera access A browser prompt will ask for permission to access your camera. Click Allow to continue — the verification process requires your camera to capture your ID and selfie. 

Step 3: Capture your ID Follow the on-screen guide to photograph your document. When you're satisfied with the image, click Continue.  

Step 4: Review your scan You'll see a preview of your captured ID. If the image is clear and all details are visible, click Continue. A confirmation message will appear: "Perfect. Your scan was successful." 

Step 5: Take a selfie Center your face within the on-screen oval frame. Hold still while the camera captures your photo. A confirmation message will appear: "Looking good. Your selfie was successful." 

Step 6: Submission complete Once both your ID and selfie are accepted, you'll see a green checkmark and the message: "Your documents have been submitted. You’ll receive an email with the results and your next steps within the next few minutes." 

Step 7: Check your email Your results will be sent to the email address entered at sign-up. If your verification was successful, you’ll be given a link to create your password and get started with The MLC.
